TGIF - Weekend Plans

Any fun plans for the weekend? All I have to say is TGIF.

Happy that this is one of the few weekends thatI don't really have any plans, except eating and R&R. If you're in the South Bay this weekend, you may want to check out Willow Glen's "Dancin' on the Avenue." I've actually never gone, but I hear from reliable sources that it's a fun event with plenty of food, drinks, live music and dancin.

Just checked out the food lineup - it's pretty legit mix of dessert, American, Greek, Mexican and Sushi. I'm thinking a little of everything will satisfy my hunger.

Hmmm…maybe my boyfriend will T Walk it out on the dance floor? If only we are all so lucky to be blessed with his dance moves…. :)

Sam's Chowdermobile

FAIL.

Was craving a fresh lobster roll ALL week after I saw that Sam's Chowdermobile would be rollin (literally) to downtown SJ today.

Well after waiting for a good 15 mins and only after moving up a foot (because a large party decided to skip out and leave the line) my friend and I also decided to opt out since it was too windy and neither of us had time to wait for hours.

Well Sam, maybe you should invest in a second truck? Or, at least portable heaters for your freezing customers?

Guess there's always next time.

National Doughnut Day...D'oh!

First, is it donut or doughnut? Aw...the little things I've always wondered about...

Sad. I actually had a draft of this blog ready from last year already saved. Well, guess it worked out pretty nicely that I remembered it this year.

Today, the first Friday of June, is national Doughnut Day. Hooray!

In honor of this wonderful sugar-filled day, visit your local Krispy Kreme and enjoy a free doughnut on them...
